The Waterfall

A monk meditated by a waterfall and felt the water’s flow as a metaphor for life: constantly moving, unpredictable, and yet full of beauty. As he watched, he realized that resisting the flow of the water would be futile. Instead, he decided to flow with life’s ups and downs, embracing both joy and sorrow.

Life, like water, flows inevitably — accept it with grace.
